When reviewing your map skills for Social Studies consider the following questions:
What is the climate in Sri Lanka? How do you know?  Is Sri Lanka located in the southern hemisphere? What bodies of water border Canada? Are there any extreme environments in Canada? If so, locate them on the map. The Newt suit was invented in Canada. It is used to explore the deep ocean. What is the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean? Can you locate it on a map? Qatar is located in Asia. What are the names of the other six continents? Which continent is the largest? Can you locate it on the map? What questions can you create for yourself to practice your map skills?
